Crow's Flight

Published May 1, 2019 · 1,229 words (5 minutes) · 50 views

Horror speculative Gothic Murder death crow stabbing

A man sacrifices a woman to his god only for there to be a snag. Shame, that. This is another self indulgent Gothic story of mine, short and punchy and based in the same building as Black Building Session.

I got up really early this morning in June to get some nice shots of the sun rising over the meadows of the river Regnitz in Erlangen, Germany. When I was just leaving I saw this crow sitting on a low branch of a nearby bush and was lucky that I had the tele lens with me. Just a bird enjoying the early sun in the morning. A reminder for us all to relax and don’t rush too much.

Fantasy Horror Science Fiction Murder THE MANY DEATHS OF JENNIFER BROZEK Gargoyle

Jennifer has worked with many authors, editors, and publishers through out her career. She's pretty sure this kind of scenario has run though someone's mind at some time. This flash piece appeared on promotional material Jennifer handed out at Gencon 2014.

I stumbled upon this gem at the based of a great Pagoda and Buddhist temple right in the middle of Garden Show Culture Park in Shenzhen China. The park is one of the city’s lesser know parks which is surprising as it’s a fantastic park full of sculptural surprises and well worth a visit.
