A man sacrifices a woman to his god only for there to be a snag. Shame, that. This is another self indulgent Gothic story of mine, short and punchy and based in the same building as Black Building Session.

I got up really early this morning in June to get some nice shots of the sun rising over the meadows of the river Regnitz in Erlangen, Germany. When I was just leaving I saw this crow sitting on a low branch of a nearby bush and was lucky that I had the tele lens with me. Just a bird enjoying the early sun in the morning. A reminder for us all to relax and don’t rush too much.

The South Australian Health & Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) is a unique building in Adelaide’s new health research district in the city. Not only is the building beautiful from the outside, with its unique tiled windows adorned with individual shades, but its interior is even more impressive.

In the rear atrium there is this beautiful helical staircase which leads researchers and scientists up and down the levels of open office spaces.

This photo is shot looking directly up, inside the centre void of the helix.
