I see it in the sky from our window night after night. At first, I think it's a distant plane, but it doesn't move like one. There's a lot of lights in the sky this summer. Sirius rose surrounded by circling helicopters, amateur fireworks, plastic drones and paper lanterns. People are stir-crazy. No one can move around on the ground, and when they can they need to disappear to do it, so at home, stuck in place, they light up the sky.
