Was it our peak, when we slow-danced touching souls and skin to “A Natural Woman” in the dim lights of the bar? Or is it the radical quiet of our anniversary, when you know what I am thinking? 

 

If this note reaches you before I do, know the sky I travel can’t hold our yearning, and the miles between us are but a whisper.
