Art by John Picacio.
I wrote an essay titled “Can We Talk About Spanglish, Por Favor?” for Constelación Magazine’s debut issue.
Constelación is a bilingual magazine (with all content printed in both English and Spanish). This makes this my first published work translated to another language. It seems fitting for my first translated work to be Spanish, since I’m English-Spanish bilingual myself.
You can find my article about the intricacies of using Spanglish in fiction HERE. I hope you find it interesting whether you choose to read it in English or in Spanish.
