It's mid-November, and you know what that means: I'm finally getting started on a new novel project!

Seriously, even though I've managed to "win" NaNoWriMo every year for the last decade+, I always seem to make it over the finish line in the last few days. It's not that I don't want to write every day; it's just that I have, you know, a life that I can't easily put on hold.

Anyway, I'll let Seanan explain.
