Subscriber-only fiction still 3x/month; 1x/month free fiction at a close

From the author: I'm still posting reprints, but they're my rarer works, and for subscribers only.

As of today, my Curious Fictions page hosts 74 stories: all the fiction I've ever had published that is (1) not self-published or (2) not excusive to any of my short fiction collections.

But as those caveats imply, there's more to my back catalog! From here on out, I'll still be posting reprints 3 times per month for my subscribers, but these reprints will be stories that have only appeared in my self-published ebook short fiction collections (IN PIECES and UNDER STARS) or in my first print fiction collection (THE RAMSHEAD ALGORITHM AND OTHER STORIES). The crowning piece will be a serialization of the novella that anchors that last collection, "You Can Take It With You," in 7 parts.

However, that doesn't mean I'll never post any free fiction here again. As I have new stories that publish out in the world, I'll reprint them here as soon as their contracts permit--during the first week of a given month, if that story is available for free elsewhere online; some other time during the month if not.

And if you just can't wait to get your hands on the last of these reprints, you can buy all the collections they appear in now at

Either way--thanks for reading!
