Tara Calaby lives in Melbourne, Australia, with their wife and far too many books. Calaby is currently a PhD candidate in English at La Trobe University, researching Victorian asylum patients from 1880-1910 and the popular fiction of the period. Their fiction has appeared in publications such as Galaxy's Edge, Grimdark Magazine and Daily Science Fiction. When not reading, writing or researching, they enjoy gaming, watching genre television, and patting other people's dogs.
