Kathleen Vyn's short fiction has appeared in Lynx Eye, the New Press, Jake's Monthly Anthology, Untoward Magazine and other publications. She received fellowships from the Ragdale Foundation, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Ossabaw Foundation. She won a grant from the Illinois Arts Council for a short story. She has books published by Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins and Trails Books. She's worked as a journalist for the Chicago Tribune, the San Francisco Examiner, CBSHealthwatch,com, American Health, Ranger Rick, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Chicago Health and other publications.
