Andrew Liptak is a writer and historian from Vermont. He is the Weekend Editor for The Verge, and his work has appeared in Armchair General Magazine, Clarkesworld Magazine, io9, Kirkus Reviews, Lightspeed Magazine, Seven Days,, VentureBeat, and other publications. He graduated in 2007 from Norwich University with a bachelor’s degree in History, and in 2009 with a master’s degree in Military History, is a 2014 attendee of the Launch Pad Astronomy Workshop, and was is an official "Mad Scientist" for the US Army's Training and Doctrine Command. He is represented by Seth Fishman of the Gernert Company.
