Ashley Jae Carranza resides in Las Vegas where she teaches high school and college. Her flash has been featured at Flash Fiction Magazine, Postcard Shorts, Maudlin House, Beautiful Losers, and Helen: Unincorporated. In addition to writing short stories, Carranza is a published academic, with a chapter in "Uncovering Stranger Things" and various other essays elsewhere. Carranza has served as an editor for numerous literary magazines, including DASH, Helen, and 101 Words. Carranza has an MA in English from California State University, Fullerton.
